there, but we will see hit and miss areas of showers and storms all the way from many of the big cities in the east. right now we're not really seeing too many problems on the storm tracker radar. yesterday we didn't see all that many nasty storms. what's going to happen is the weather pattern is going to change. we have a big area of low pressure that's going to be moving down from the north and swing a cold front through the northern plains. today will be in the 80s. enjoy today. temperatures will take a big dip. it will track across the border of the u.s. and canada. behind it the coolest air of the season. ma areas if you haven't had a frost or freeze yet, you will, including colorado. there's a potential that some areas could see snow in the northern rockies, maybe some spots of colorado as we go throughout friday into saturday. today you're in the 80s in areas of montana. tomorrow will be the 40s. enjoy it in minneapolis. the warmest day you'll have. middle of the country looks gorgeous. numerous showers on the eastern seaboard. you do need the umbrella in many of the areas if you

lake city, and it's moved through colorado, but that's really about it. now that front's going to kind of just sit here. it's not going to make much more progress to the south. that's why i don't think the temperatures are going to cool off much. so, the cool air, northern nevada, up into idaho and montana. the onshore flow's cooled off a little bit, too, over the last couple days in california, and that's going to continue. there are a lot of coastal clouds, you'll be burning off the fog all morning long and then sunshine this afternoon. if you notice the chilly air, it's in the 40s finally through the northern rockies, into 30s at the high elevations, but none of that cool air made it to vegas, at 78 this morning. it's a little cool around portland and medford, maybe a light jacket this morning. you'll probably carry it home this afternoon because we're spending another dry day, an amazingly dry stretch of weather here and it continues. 84 in medford, 74 portland, and after burning off the clouds in central california, dry in the where we'll still be in the 90s. that's better th

morning, everyone. last night we were very happy to report heavy rain fell in oklahoma city. it's one of the driest areas in the country. one of the driest states along with kansas. we've been very happy and pleased to report rain. some areas picked up as much as 4 inches of rain. this front is kind of stalled out here all the way back through just outside of philadelphia. back through central pennsylvania and all the way through the ohio valley into kansas and oklahoma. all along we've had areas of rain over the last two to three days. the heavy rain has now moved out but almost two inches of rain. it's just a little dent in the drought. this is what we need, more weather patterns like this. oklahoma city towards tulsa, just a shield of rain here all the way north of mccallister. that's great news there. rain continues in southern pennsylvania. the pennsylvania turnpike is not an enjoyable ride this morning. this rain is heading for philadelphia and new jersey eventually as we go throughout your morning rush hour. as far as the forecast goes today, we're beautiful in the northern por
